There is a mini fridge with fresh milk in the bedroom for the complimentary hot drinks provided and there is plenty of room in the fridge for you to store some of your own items.
We can offer flask hire filled with tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
If you are planning a special occasion, we can arrange flowers, chocolates, champagne etc upon arrival or during your stay with us. Although we don't have a car park we do purchase car parking permits so you can park free of charge in the 3 long stay council car parks (Otley Road, Central and Lakeside) for the duration of your stay.
We are lifelong lovers of the fells and lake district and have extensive knowledge of the area and can recommend something for everyone.
We are ideally located as a base to explore the town and the surrounding fells. We have a number of walking books and guides for our guests to borrow and we can offer our advice on walks to cater for all abilities, whether it be a gentle 10 minute stroll to Derwentwater lake, a flat scenic walk along the old railway line or a full day walking Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England at 3,209 feet. If walking isn't your thing and you fancy a lovely scenic drive incorporating a pub or tea room, the chances are that we have been.
