Our Accommodation

Our accommodation is tastefully decorated to a high standard with comfortable new pocket sprung beds.  All bedrooms are equipped with mini fridge, 32 inch flat screen smart televisions, hairdryer, toiletries and a quality hospitality tray consisting of mints, biscuits, both decaffeinated coffee and regular coffee sachets, English tea bags and also hot chocolate and sugars.  Fresh milk is provided in the mini fridge.  Given our central location, fell views are experienced from most rooms.

We are a small guest house with all rooms having en-suite bathrooms with showers:  We have twin bedded, double rooms with king sized bed and a large ground floor suite with king sized bed.

Our Lords Seat room on the top floor has the best views from the property and our mountain photographs on this site are taken from the room.

Our Walla Crag room is also on the top floor and has a sloping ceiling to one side of the room and may be unsuitable for taller people and those who are claustrophobic.

Our ground floor king sized bedded suite (Skiddaw) is unique. A lovely spacious lounge area with corner sofa has sky tv package with movies and sports, wall mounted fire and tea and coffee making facilities. The bedroom has a triple wardrobe, king sized bed with luxury pocket sprung mattress and bathroom with shower cubicle.

Our Derwentwater room on the first floor is slightly smaller as a bedroom with a double bed and shower. It benefits from a small kitchenette area with a sink, microwave, fridge, toaster and Tassimo machine. It also has a lovely private roof terrace for you to sit and enjoy the afternoon/evening sunshine, when the weather behaves itself.

We also offer free car parking through digital parking permits that we purchase from the local Council allowing you to park in the three long stay council car parks (Otley Road, Central and Lakeside) for the duration of your stay. We have 1 permit per room - you just advise us of your registration number before you arrive and we will log your car on the MiPermit app and you can go straight to the car park and leave your car there without having to display anything.
